Location: National Capital Region, ON. The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) is a Crown corporation at the front line of Canada’s national security, safeguarding the traveling public through the effective and efficient screening of airport workers, air travelers and baggage at 89 airports nationwide.
CATSA’s Technology Branch has embarked on an exciting period of transformation and growth. It is seeking a strategic technology leader to take on the role of
Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) .
Reporting to the President & CEO, the CTO oversees all matters relating to the planning, evaluation, deployment and operation of airport security screening equipment/operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) for CATSA. Building on the organization’s considerable strengths to shape and drive CATSA’s technology vision and strategy across both OT and IT domains, the CTO leads a team of over 100 individuals that ensure seamless integration and alignment of technology with CATSA’s strategic objectives, and stakeholder needs.
As a strong candidate you bring 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, ideally acquired in highly operational, secure, mission critical environments. CATSA will benefit from your expertise in leading large-scale change management initiatives across complex organizations and your proven track record in managing large and diverse teams in both operational technology and information technology domains.
