What You Will Do And Learn
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Oracle FCCS & ARCS Solution Architect to join our team. This role covers pre-sales activities, solution design leadership, and project delivery management specifically for Oracle FCCS and ARCS. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in these applications and able to bridge technical and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Pre-Sales Support: Act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, engaging with C-level executives and financial stakeholders to understand challenges related to financial close, consolidation, and account reconciliation.
Lead discovery sessions to gather business requirements and articulate how FCCS & ARCS solutions can streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance financial controls.
Develop and present tailored solution demonstrations within FCCS and ARCS environments, highlighting value for consolidation, intercompany eliminations, currency translations, and automated reconciliation.
Collaborate with the sales team to qualify opportunities, contribute to RFPs/RFQs, and help define winning sales strategies.
Solution Design and Architecture: Lead design sessions with clients to define the overall solution architecture for FCCS and ARCS implementations. Translate complex business requirements into robust technical designs and create detailed design documents. Provide expertise on FCCS (Consolidation, Close Manager, Intercompany) and ARCS (Reconciliation, Compliance, Transaction Matching) to ensure alignment with GAAP/IFRS. Oversee end-to-end architecture, including data models, ERP integrations, and financial reporting strategies using tools like Management Reporting or Smart View.
Project Delivery and Management: Serve as the lead architect through the project lifecycle from design to go-live and support. Manage scope, deliverables, and timelines to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. Mentor functional and technical consultants and collaborate with client teams to manage change and adoption. Act as a key liaison between the client, internal delivery teams, and Oracle product support to resolve complex issues.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in a technology and functional role, with at least 4+ years as a Solution Architect on Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) or Oracle FCCS and ARCS projects.
Deep functional and technical knowledge of Oracle FCCS (Consolidations, Intercompany Eliminations, Currency Translation) and ARCS (Reconciliation, Compliance, Transaction Matching).
Proven track record of leading full-cycle implementations and managing complex projects.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills to articulate complex financial and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong understanding of the financial close process including consolidations, intercompany reconciliation, and account substantiation.
Experience with data integration strategies and tools within the Oracle EPM ecosystem (e.g., Data Management, Data Integration).
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS, or related field.
