Bluebelt is an AI-powered platform helping Canadians explore, train, and get hired in the skilled trades. We’re building a place where the next generation of journeypeople (builders) can learn from the best. Position : Head of Content Overview: We’re seeking a creative powerhouse who can film, edit, and produce short-form and long-form content that inspires people to pick up a trade. You’ll be on-site, behind the camera, and in the editing bay shaping how the world sees skilled work. This is a part-time contract role to start, with the potential to scale into a full-time leadership position as we grow. Key Responsibilities: Film, edit, and produce videos across YouTube, social, and web for our Bluebelt platform. Bring stories to life through crisp editing, motion graphics, and modern visual techniques. Manage shoots across Ontario (mostly GTA, sometimes Eastern or Southwestern Ontario; travel covered). Collaborate with our CEO and CTO to plan narrative arcs, interviews, and campaign visuals. Contribute creative direction and help shape Bluebelt’s visual identity and voice. Build scalable systems for content production so we can train and hire under you as we grow. What You’ll Need: Strong portfolio of work: ideally showing human, community, or educational storytelling. Access to camera and drone equipment. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects (or DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut), and basic animation. Familiarity with YouTube and social monetization models (bonus if you’ve run a channel). Ability to work independently and travel with the CEO across Ontario for shoots. Entrepreneurial mindset: open to stock options (equity) for long-term growth. Compensation: Part-time to start: $33–$38/hour (depending on experience).
