Job Description

* **Strategy & Vision:** Develop and maintain a roadmap for the evolution of cybersecurity methodology, tools, and processes. Assess current practices and drive continuous improvement to meet evolving business and regulatory needs.* **Risk Methodology:** Lead the creation, execution, and maintenance of cybersecurity risk processes and provide input into policies, standards, and governance frameworks. Contribute to the development of risk-related policies and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.* **Process Governance:** Oversee the execution of governance activities related to cybersecurity risk assessment,

Ensure processes are documented, robust, and adhere to established methodologies. Engage with control and audit activities and interact with other lines of defense.* **Leadership:** Build, coach, and motivate a high-performing team of security and risk professionals. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Foster a culture of accountability and excellence.* **Thought Leadership & Benchmarking:** Stay current with industry trends, methodologies, and frameworks. Conduct research and benchmarking to ensure CIBC’s practices remain at the forefront of the industry.- **You can** **demonstrate** **5+ years of experience in** information security risk assessment, including threat risk assessments, vulnerability and penetration testing, and secure software development. Experience with Agile development is an asset. You have deep understanding of risk management frameworks (e.g., Operational Risk, Technology Delivery, Third Party Risk Management) and risk register tools (e.g., Archer, e-GRC). You have 3+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams. You have proven ability to set strategic direction, coach, and drive team performance. You notice things that others don't. Your critical thinking skills help to inform your decision making. You have experience developing and implementing strategic team goals.
