Senior Manager, Fraud Strategy and Analytics
Capital One Canada is hiring for the Senior Manager, Fraud Strategy and Analytics role. The role leads strategies to protect Capital One Canada and customers from fraud while enabling secure business growth. You will develop roadmaps, analytics, and defense execution across major fraud types. You will lead a high-performing team of analysts and partner with Technology, Credit Risk, Data Science, Operations, and Product. You will be accountable for fraud losses in the P&L and build business cases with a focus on outcomes and resilience.

Your Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute fraud strategies that protect customers and Capital One while balancing fraud prevention, customer experience and business growth.
People Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team of fraud analysts, fostering inclusion and collaboration.
Strategic & Analytic Orientation: Guide analysis to ensure rigor and alignment with business priorities; balance data-driven depth with pragmatic decision-making.
Partnership: Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate fraud strategies into outcomes; align strategies across domains.
Strong Business Judgment & Integrity: Influence at senior levels to amplify the team’s work.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher
At least 7 years of experience in fraud, credit risk, or analytics with demonstrated impact on P&L, customer experience, and business results
At least 5 years of people leadership experience with a track record of fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to influence strategic decisions
Experience synthesizing complex fraud insights into clear narratives for senior leadership decisions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading leaders; strong partnership-building with other leaders
Deep understanding of industry trends and external factors affecting fraud strategies
Ability to anticipate risks and adapt roadmaps in a changing environment
Ability to manage ambiguity and make strategic decisions under uncertainty
