Overview

Staff Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Security and Data Systems. This role blends software engineering and systems administration to build and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure. You will automate manual processes, proactively solve complex problems, and participate in on-call rotations and incident response. Responsibilities

Platform & Reliability: Design, build, and maintain the core infrastructure that underpins our security SaaS offerings, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability. This includes building and operating the tooling for our Snowflake data systems. Automation: Develop robust automation using code to eliminate toil and ensure consistency across environments, including infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and incident response. Security & Compliance: Collaborate with security teams to embed a security-first approach and ensure systems and data platforms meet industry standards. Incident Response: Participate in on-call rotations, lead root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures to prevent recurrence. Collaboration: Partner with development, data science, and security teams to provide guidance on architectural decisions and best practices. Key Skills & Qualifications

Strong Coding Skills: Proficient in production-level code to solve operational challenges. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Deep experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure and services. Continuous Delivery: Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, especially Spinnaker, to automate release pipelines. Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with Kubernetes and managing large-scale production clusters. Database Migrations: Experience with tools like Flyway for safe database changes. Data Systems: Direct experience with large-scale data systems, specifically Snowflake. AI/ML Experience (a plus): Interest or experience in applying AI/ML to reliability, security, and operational efficiency (e.g., AIOps, predictive analysis). Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving abilities. Travel & Onboarding

This role requires in-person onboarding and travel to the Toronto, Canada office during the first week of employment. Compensation & Benefits

The annual base salary range for candidates located in Canada is CAD 139,000–209,000. This role may include equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance; RRSP with match; healthcare spending accounts; telemedicine; and paid leave (PTO and parental leave) in accordance with policy.
