Overview
Manager, Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) is responsible for maturing Community Trust Company’s TPRM practices through the development, implementation and operationalization of its TPRM framework. This role reports to the Senior Manager, TPRM and supports enterprise-wide TPRM practices across the Questrade Financial Group (QFG) of companies.
The Manager will support the 2nd Line of Defense by providing effective risk review and challenge of the 1st Line. The role involves developing TPRM governance, processes and tools to support reporting on third party risk and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Contribute to the development of the TPRM strategy, framework, policy, standards, processes and tools
Review risk management activities related to CTC’s third party ecosystem
Research how to leverage industry-leading platforms and tools to streamline onboarding and ongoing TPRM management
Ensure CTC compliance with applicable regulatory requirements including OSFI B-10, E-21
Support alignment of third party management methodologies and practices within operational risk
Assist in identifying and preparing for emerging risks related to third parties
Establish and maintain TPRM reporting to various CTC committees
Develop training and testing programs to provide assurance of resilience to key risks and threats
Nurture productive working relationships with the 3 Lines of Defense for Risk Management
Oversee development and execution of scenario analysis testing for TPRM
Support development and implementation of CTC’s operational resilience framework
Qualifications
University degree, preferably in business, risk management or compliance
Minimum of 3 years of specialized TPRM experience and 2 years of experience in other risk disciplines (e.g., Operational Risk, Business Continuity, Enterprise Risk)
Experience in financial services/fintech industry
Experience in a Third Party Risk or Resiliency function
Ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines
Ability to provide effective review and challenge
Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently
Comfort collaborating and running workshops with diverse stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Ability to see the big picture while handling day-to-day responsibilities
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Forms, Sheets)
Working knowledge of IT & Cyber, Business Continuity, Financial, Privacy, and Compliance risk areas
Understanding of procurement and vendor management principles
Working knowledge of FI regulations (OSFI, CIRO, FCAC, etc.)
Analytical thinking, planning, prioritizing and execution skills
Additional Qualifications
Accreditations or designations in relevant risk fields (e.g., CRM, CIA)
Vendor management and/or procurement experience
Additional Information
This role requires in-office presence 3 days a week
