Position Summary
SOC 100: Introduction to Sociology. This course introduces students to basic sociological concepts, debates, and modes of analysis. Through discussion of issues such as the cultural development of humans, the socialization process and the structures of global society, students will be introduced to the distinctive approach of sociology.
Position Requirements
MA in Sociology; PhD preferred; a record of effective teaching at the post-secondary level.
Hours/Location
The instructor will deliver the course on campus face-to-face on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 0830-0945. Instructors are expected to have one office hour per week.
Course Dates and Time
January 6 - April 13, 2026. Duration: January 1 - April 30, 2026. Course Modality: On Campus - Face to Face.
