A technology domain expert with extensive experience in technology-led business strategies with leadership skills to spare. Your expertise includes advising banking and/or insurance clients on technology strategies to achieve their vision and operational goals. You have energy, resilience, a passion for collaborating with senior executives, and a love for continual learning. You can break down complex issues into logical parts and construct analyses that drive actionable recommendations. You possess top-notch communication and people skills and a talent for appreciating diverse perspectives and bringing out the best in teams. In Technology Strategy you will: Serve as trusted advisor to the C-Suite, defining strategy at the intersection of technology and business Articulate a compelling technology vision with industry and functional expertise Shape the role of technology in business strategies to capture market share Identify and prioritize value creation opportunities based on assessment of current technology footprint Drive strategic opportunities incorporating innovative technology solutions into broader business transformations Develop operating models and business cases leveraging modern technologies and ways of working Lead the creation of thought leadership assets that present innovative insights and recommendations on technology strategy for banking and/or insurance clients Ensure clients are positioned for long-term success with practical road maps for digital, IT or cloud strategy, change management, monitoring, and remediation Mentor junior members of the Strategy team and position them for future growth Apply deep expertise in Technology Strategies, Technology Operating Models, Cloud Strategy, Technology Value and Tech Debt Remediation, and Transformation Shaping for banking and/or insurance clients As a Manager you will

Manage a single project or major workstream, guiding overall team deliverables while mentoring team members Build strong relationships with senior clients and begin to develop C-suite relationships; foster collaboration and act as a trusted advisor Drive thought leadership, asset development, and intellectual capital efforts Identify and pursue new business opportunities Drive business development by architecting and developing proposals and SOWs with support from a Senior Manager Facilitate and drive results; address difficult client conversations with senior stakeholders to achieve meaningful outcomes Identify creative data sources and refine hypotheses through effective interviews Develop focused expertise across multiple technology strategy focus areas while maintaining breadth of knowledge Use existing frameworks while developing new ones to articulate business impacts and value Lead technology strategy initiatives for banking and insurance clients, leveraging skills in Technology Strategies, Tech Operating Models, Cloud Strategy, Tech Value and Tech Debt Remediation, and Transformation Shaping Here’s What You Need

Minimum 2 years of strategy consulting experience at a consulting firm Minimum 5 years of proven experience in at least one of: operating model strategy, technology in M&A, technology cost optimization, or technology-driven revenue growth in banking and/or insurance Minimum 5 years of experience writing business cases Minimum 2 years of experience leading or managing small teams Curiosity about technology and its influence on business Experience leading small high-impact teams Top-notch communication and people skills Strong presentation skills; ability to synthesize information and convey a clear message Ability to travel and work in Canada Bachelor’s degree Bonus Points if MBA or equivalent graduate degree Broad experience with major technologies (legacy to emerging) Demonstrated critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and ability to guide junior team members Ability to build, manage, and foster teams Experience using data models and visualization tools to drive insights Ability to develop practical roadmaps enabling technology transformation Capability to manage a variety of projects with increasing complexity Seniority level
