We are looking for an accountable and driven Solutions Architect to join Global Wealth Management Technology (GWMT) – where we develop and modernize the technology that powers the Global Wealth Management business lines. GWMT consists of departments with high performing agile teams working closely together to deliver, support, and maintain the many applications and ecosystems within Global Wealth. Your role will be to challenge, poke holes, and leverage your expertise to influence the best possible design for the problem at hand. Scalable Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions tailored to wealth and asset management platforms. Business Alignment: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust, future-proof technical solutions. Architectural Leadership: Lead cross-functional architectural discussions, driving strategic decisions and solutions across multiple teams and initiatives. Technical Mentorship: Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering growth and ensuring technical excellence. Standards Compliance: Ensure all solutions adhere to enterprise architecture principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Modular Modernization: Spearhead modernization efforts including cloud-native adoption, microservices architecture, and modular API-first design to enable flexibility, scalability, and vendor independence. Platform Enablement: Build foundational capabilities that empower product, data, and AI teams to innovate securely and efficiently. AI Integration: Architect and integrate AI/ML capabilities into platforms to enhance advisor productivity, personalization, and decision support. Data Engineering: Design and optimize real-time and batch data pipelines for analytics, reporting, and AI model consumption. Operational Excellence: Support production systems with a focus on reliability, scalability, and continuous service improvement. DevOps Enablement: Champion DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability, and infrastructure as code. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating consensus and alignment. Continuously Improve: Aid in the continuous improvement of business and technical processes through prior experiences and best practice adoption. Qualifications

10+ years of experience in software architecture and development, with a focus on wealth management, asset management, or banking domains being an asset. Excellent Understanding of Wealth Business and Data, including Master Data Management (Security, Client, Position, Transaction, etc.), Client Lifecycle Management (Onboarding, Servicing, etc.), Client Reporting & Portal, Investment Performance & Benchmarking, Portfolio Management (Asset Allocation, Risk Management, Rebalancing, etc.), Trading Lifecycle (Order Management, Execution, Settlements, etc.), and Investment Operations (Reconciliation, Trade Support, Account Servicing, etc.). Strong Communication: Ability to convey information in written, visual, and verbal form and collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams. Problem-Solving: Ability to understand and articulate problems, evaluate solutions, and decide based on evidence. Leadership: Natural leadership qualities with the ability to influence and inspire teams. Proficiency in Key Technologies / Tools (asset): Cloud Platforms (GCP, Azure) Data Engineering (Real-Time, Event-Driven, Batch, etc.) Workflow and Process Orchestration Microservices Architecture Languages such as Java, Python, Javascript, React, etc. Emerging AI Frameworks (Agentic AI, A2A, MCP, etc.) DevSecOps tools and best practices Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus. Strategic Planning: Ability to contextualize the bigger picture across the business landscape to set a strategy and execute on that plan across projects and products. Flexibility and Accountability: Ability to prioritize and work across multiple initiatives as a team member to deliver on assigned tasks on-time and with quality. Agile Experience: A solid understanding and demonstrated ability to deliver on projects and products in an Agile manner (Scrum, Kanban, etc.). What\'s in it for you?
