Position Summary
The Senior Product Manager shapes and delivers HomeEquity Bank’s product and value proposition strategy. Responsibilities include end-to-end product development and lifecycle management, launches, enhancements, and process improvements that align with strategic priorities and deliver client and Bank value. This role reports to the Director of Product and works cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Risk, Operations, Technology, Treasury and Finance. The Senior Manager leads efforts to offer best-in-class products and value propositions for Canadians aged 55+, supporting business growth and long-term value creation. The role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and a client-centric mindset to translate business needs into scalable, high-impact product solutions.
Major Elements of the Role
Product and Value Proposition Strategy
Support the development and execution of HomeEquity Bank’s product roadmap
Manage product launches and enhancements from ideation/definition through implementation
Identify opportunities for continued innovation and value proposition differentiation
Product Lifecycle Management
Oversee the full product lifecycle including performance monitoring, enhancements and support
Conduct regular product reviews leveraging data and feedback from clients, partners and employees
Develop business cases for new product initiatives and/or enhancements
Lead cross-functional teams in planning and delivery of product initiatives
Ensure product documentation, policies, procedures and controls are effective and compliant
Insights And Reporting
Develop market, industry and product expertise in the Canadian reverse mortgage space
Define and report on product KPIs; support broader business performance reporting
Serve as a product subject matter expert for the Bank and key strategic projects
Conduct market, competitor, and client research to inform product strategies and enhancements

Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications And Technical Expertise
University degree or equivalent experience; MBA or equivalent considered an asset
Demonstrated experience in product management and/or financial services
Experience with product development and lifecycle management in a regulated industry
Knowledge of residential mortgage, lending, or banking products is an asset
Understanding of operational processes, compliance considerations, and customer experience best practices
