Provide legal advice on large IT systems and technology initiatives that support Payments Canada’s payment systems. Lead, negotiate and draft a variety of agreements, including complex technology agreements, commercial contracts, MSAs, SaaS and licensing agreements. Work directly with senior business teams to advise on strategy, risk and business objectives. Mentor others within the legal team and build relationships with business clients and peers. Qualifications

8+ years of commercial IT and/or corporate/commercial experience gained from a law firm or corporation. Experience in financial services and with federally-regulated entities is an asset. Strong negotiation and drafting skills; decisive and self-motivated. Ability to build relationships with business clients and peers and to mentor others within the legal team. Location: Toronto or Ottawa with a hybrid policy of 2 days per week in the office. Employer and contact
