Overview

Our client, a leading Real Estate Investment and Asset Management firm, is looking to add a new corporate lawyer to its team. The ideal candidate will have articled and practiced at a high-quality law firm, and will be looking to venture out into a dynamic in-house environment. Prior real estate and asset management experience is not required, but a good work ethic and a desire to learn will set you up for future success in this company. You will provide legal and strategic support on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, with an emphasis on real estate. Prior commercial experience would be ideal in making you a valuable resource, right out of the gate. This is a full-time, in-office position.

Responsibilities

Provide legal and strategic support on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, with an emphasis on real estate. Collaborate with in-house teams to support business objectives. Work in a dynamic in-house environment and develop expertise in corporate law and commercial real estate.

Qualifications

Articled and practiced at a high-quality law firm. Desire to transition to in-house practice. Strong work ethic and quick learner; no prior real estate or asset management experience required. Commercial experience is an asset.
