Program manages the Eastern Canada portfolio by ensuring targets are met Oversee and understand the local market requirements for real estate acquisition, commercial lease management, administration, and operations, ensure that work is done in a manner that meets timelines and objectives Review and administer different forms of tenure, including but not limited to: statutory right of ways, easement, permits, licenses, leases and ancillary types of documents Evaluate procedures and recommend improvements on the delivery of projects Ensure quality control of data entry and tracking of candidates, leases and all third party consents, necessary to hand over to the Implementation teams Qualifications

Bilingual in both French and English with a strong ability to communicate in both languages Understanding of commercial leasing, real estate, land-use authority, and federal government requirements necessary for the ongoing operation and expansion of a telecommunication network, property management and lease administration Exceptional communicator with the knack for effectively interacting with internal and external stakeholders including landlords or government authorities Ability to read and interpret legal documents (lease, license right of way agreements and others); ability to understand construction drawings including surveys & engineering designs Strong work ethic to drive projects and tasks to finish on time; ability to solve problems by drawing on past experience and leveraging available resources Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and 5+ years of experience in site acquisition management in the communications industry Experience communicating with various landowners such as federal, provincial & municipal authorities, first nations, railways, utility companies, commercial & industrial business owners, condominium corporations, and residential owners regarding land access and rights of way Working knowledge of local provincial & federal acts Nice-to-have

Ability to interpret lease/license agreements; read and understand legal clauses Working knowledge of right of way acquisition Experience with right of way valuation and interest Public consultation and conflict resolution capabilities Strong acumen for reporting Knowledge of SAP Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint & Excel Location
