As part of this growth, Reimer Associates is conducting a search for a
Vice President, Transportation Sales + Customer Service — a high-impact executive role designed to drive national commercial strategy and elevate the customer experience. Reporting directly to the President, this role is ideal for a seasoned, hands-on leader ready to take ownership of all revenue-generating, marketing, and customer service activities across the organization. Role Highlights – Scope of Responsibility
Lead national sales strategy across all lines of business: FTL, LTL, 3PL, brokerage, intermodal, and transborder transportation
Own all commercial activities including business development, customer experience, key account management, and marketing
Build and lead a results-oriented sales organization with national reach, including oversight of teams across Canada and select U.S. markets
Develop tailored logistics solutions in collaboration with operations and executive stakeholders to win and grow enterprise-level business
Act as executive sponsor for high-value RFQs, pricing strategies, and strategic customer opportunities
Champion a best-in-class customer service model, ensuring operational alignment, responsiveness, and account retention
Oversee all marketing activities including brand strategy, digital presence, trade events, and demand generation programs
Be the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring a frictionless experience and proactive service improvements
Coach, mentor, and grow a high-performing team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Ideal Candidate – Experience & Background
15+ years of progressive experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Proven success in leading B2B sales teams and consistently exceeding revenue and margin growth targets
Deep understanding of Canadian and cross-border transportation networks, including warehousing and third-party logistics (3PL)
Strong track record of enterprise relationship management, pricing strategy, and contract negotiation
Demonstrated experience building and executing marketing and brand strategies aligned with sales objectives
Hands-on, strategic operator comfortable in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced business education strongly preferred
Exceptional communication, team leadership, and customer advocacy skills
Willingness to travel (20–30%) within Canada and to key U.S. markets
