We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Director of Consulting & Investigations, Risk Mitigation
to lead our practice, drive client success, and support organizational growth in Ontario. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven leader who thrives on building teams, managing client relationships, and delivering high-impact solutions. The successful candidate will manage development efforts and oversee operations throughout Canada, with a focus on Toronto and other major centres. Some travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Investigations & Consulting operations across Ontario, overseeing permanent, part-time, and contract staff
Provide strategic direction and subject matter expertise to team members for investigations and consulting projects
Manage operational functions, including billing, payroll, recruiting, and benefits
Identify new business opportunities and cross-selling initiatives
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and senior leadership
Prepare and manage budgets, business plans, and schedules
Represent GardaWorld in industry associations, professional networks, and client events
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study
Seasoned expert with extensive industry knowledge in risk management, consulting and investigation services
Technical leader recognized as a thought leader for innovation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to be highly organized in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
