Overview

Director, Large Enterprise Programs, Strategic Execution – RBC. You will lead highly visible, large transformation initiatives, providing thought leadership and collaborating with senior leaders to shape strategic objectives and the path to execution excellence. You will architect large, complex programs, define strategic objectives and key results (OKRs), ensure effective project delivery, manage cross-functional workstreams, and mitigate risks while supporting enterprise and business unit goals. As Director, Large Enterprise Programs, Strategic Execution, you will drive consistency and success in RBC's most ambitious programs by combining strategic thinking with hands-on leadership of transformative projects. What will you do?

Strategic Leadership: Establish credibility through subject matter expertise and deep business knowledge. Strategic Alignment: Design strategic roadmaps, facilitate value-driven programs with clear OKRs, and influence outcomes to realize benefits and reduce risks. Transformative Program Management: Plan, build business cases, schedule, scope, prioritize, and allocate resources to ensure timely and successful execution. Delivery & Governance: Manage end-to-end delivery, controls, documentation, value realization, and cross-workstream integration. Risk & Schedule Management: Develop detailed schedules, identify risks, and provide timely executive summaries and progress updates. Partnership & Communication: Build strong partnerships, provide strategic advice, and communicate effectively with business leaders and partners. Team Development: Coach and develop team members to foster professional growth. What do you need to succeed?

5+ years’ experience leading large transformative programs from strategy formulation to execution (preferably in financial services). Strategic thinking with ability to recognize business complexities and make trade-offs to drive execution excellence. Ability to drive change and manage conflicts in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, keeping teams focused on business priorities. Must Have

Bachelor’s degree or post-graduate degree (MBA, finance, engineering, or science) Strong strategic and financial business acumen with risk and cost control mindset (CPA, CFA designation preferred) Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Nice to Have

Management Consulting experience Additional designations Agile, Lean and Six Sigma, Change Management Experience with Change Management processes Job Skills
