Hematologist - BC Cancer – Surrey

BC Cancer – Surrey is seeking a Hematologist to join their team. As a Hematologist, you will provide hemato-oncology consultation, patient care, teaching, and research with a focus on myeloid/lymphoid malignancies. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative care team committed to excellence and will participate in clinical, research, administrative, and educational activities. You must have obtained or be working towards Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine, along with a certificate of Special Competence in hematology or completed residency in hematology. Responsibilities and Requirements: Provide hemato-oncology consultation, patient care, teaching, and research with a focus on myeloid/lymphoid malignancies. Participate in clinical, research, administrative, and educational activities. Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada as per TRC (2015) and BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019). Knowledge of social, economic, political, and historical realities impacting indigenous communities and familiarity with Indigenous Cultural Safety and anti-racism.
