Anesthesiologist

Overview

We are seeking an Anesthesiologist to join our team at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital (KBRH), where you’ll work alongside 10 anesthesiologists and an Anesthesiology Assistant in a supportive and collaborative environment. Our department provides anesthesia services for a wide range of surgical specialties, including orthopedics, urology, ENT, plastics, obstetrics, and gynecology. We offer labor analgesia for approximately 300 deliveries per year, with an epidural rate of 50%, and operate a Preoperative Anesthesia Consultation Clinic two days per week. Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia services for a broad range of surgical specialties. Deliver labor analgesia and participate in obstetric anesthesia care as part of a team. Contribute to the Preoperative Anesthesia Consultation Clinic (two days per week). Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and support a culture of safety and high-quality patient care. Qualifications

Experience in general and regional anesthesia. Comfortable caring for patients aged 2 and older. Position Details
