4 weekday & 1 weekend shift Job Overview As an Assistant Store Manager, you will coach and develop your store team to deliver excellent service, helping Pet Parents find the right nutrition and solutions for their pets. What You Get Management training Product knowledge Employee discounts Competitive wages Paid benefits Pet-oriented career environment What You Do Ensure customer service standards are met; maintain relationships within the community Manage a team including recruiting, scheduling, training, supervising, and coaching Ensure adherence to operational standards and procedures Coordinate inventory, store audits, safety checks, repairs, and corporate paperwork Achieve targeted business results Perform other duties as required What You Bring Minimum 2 years customer service and retail management experience Enthusiasm for pet care industry growth Outgoing personality with strong customer service skills Ability to work weekends and evenings Reliable transportation Ability to coach employees on sales and service techniques Understanding of team conflicts and escalation procedures Working knowledge of POS systems Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly Industry experience is an asset Seniority level
