Overview
Senior Manager, Enterprise Architecture, Audience Facing Products (Digital Strategy And Product) (English Services) at CBC/Radio-Canada. This role leads the architectural practice for audience facing products and aligns technology solutions with digital product strategies and business goals.
CBC/Radio-Canada is Canada’s public broadcaster. The Audience Data and Privacy Team (ADaPT) builds and supports workflows and tools to understand audiences while balancing privacy. The team works with content across APIs, GQL, podcasts, live streams and more.

This is a senior management role with a focus on strategy, technology, and collaboration with product, engineering and leadership teams.
How you will make an impact
Lead and grow an enterprise-wide software architecture practice for audience facing products, balancing functional integrity, scalability, security, and time-to-market.
Partner with product managers, directors, designers and technical leaders to explore architectural and technology needs and define feasible scope.
Drive key technical decisions across development teams and stakeholder groups; facilitate analysis, solutioning, review and decisions.
Contribute to product planning and roadmaps by bringing the technology perspective and championing valuable work.
Identify and address leadership gaps, grow domain expertise, and advise on technology investments in the near and long term.
Build an architecture practice that enhances the discovery process, clarifies deliverables, dependencies and skills development.
Establish and maintain architectural standards including data governance, security and regulatory compliance.
Maintain a high-performance, inclusive culture where team members are engaged and grow professionally.
What you bring to our team
Three or more years of experience in a technical management position, with progressive roles from developer to architect and experience leading teams of more than two people.
Broad technical leadership across architectural domains for audience facing products (e.g., data integration, authentication, frontend technologies, cross-platform technologies).
Experience maturing practices, navigating evolving priorities and shaping outcomes.
Knowledge of engineering practices: test strategy, tooling, automation, monitoring/observability, CI/CD, DevOps.
Proven ability to lead projects/programs, allocate resources, and bring clarity through discovery and problem-solving.
People leadership: coach and develop teams, foster a diverse and inclusive high-performance culture.
Strong communication, ownership mindset, and willingness to learn and collaborate.
Degree in engineering (applied science), computer science, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
Exposure to AI/ML/LLM with understanding of governance considerations.
Nice to have
Master’s degree in engineering (applied science) or related discipline.
Experience in the media industry.
