About the role
The organization is seeking an IT Solutions Architect to design scalable, secure architectures for HRIS, payroll, and time & attendance systems integrated with ERP platforms. In this role, youโll define integration strategies with system integrators, including APIs, middleware/iPaaS flows, ETL processes, and real-time data exchanges. Youโll translate business requirements into precise technical blueprints, guide teams through design, build, test, and deployment, and ensure solutions meet performance, compliance, and usability standards. Youโll also work closely with security teams to safeguard sensitive employee data and continuously evaluate systems to keep them future-ready and aligned with evolving business and technology needs.
Responsibilities
Design scalable, secure architectures for HRIS, payroll, and time & attendance systems integrated with ERP platforms.
Define integration strategies with system integrators, including APIs, middleware/iPaaS flows, ETL processes, and real-time data exchanges.
Translate business requirements into precise technical blueprints and guide teams through design, build, test, and deployment.
Ensure solutions meet performance, compliance, and usability standards.
Collaborate with security teams to safeguard sensitive employee data.
Continuously evaluate systems to stay future-ready and aligned with evolving business and technology needs.
Requirements
Experience: 7+ years in IT solutions architecture or senior technical roles, with strong exposure to HR, payroll, and time & attendance systems.
ERP & Technical Expertise: Hands-on integration with SAP; proficiency with APIs (REST/SOAP), middleware/iPaaS (SAP BTP, Boomi), ETL, and data mapping.
Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of HR processes including employee lifecycle, recruitment, compensation, benefits, scheduling, and payroll calculations.
Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with payroll regulations and data protection standards across multiple jurisdictions.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, stakeholder influence, and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
Based in Montreal or Mississauga; hybrid role requiring in-office presence 3x a week.
Bilingual (French and English).
Core Competencies & Tools
HR platforms such as Workday.
Time & attendance systems in manufacturing environments (e.g., Kronos, UKG Pro WFM).
Multi-country payroll project experience.
Agile delivery and CI/CD integration familiarity.
Experience with SAP core processes in manufacturing settings.
