You Will:
Work together with the sales executives in all phases of the sales cycle, providing the necessary business application and industry knowledge to maximize sales revenue.
Use your business and industry expertise, in combination with your technical knowledge of select solution areas, to effectively demonstrate how our client will meet their client’s business needs.
Support the development of sales strategies for accounts.
Assist in qualifying sales opportunities.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and demonstrations, including the development and implementation of proof of concepts and prototypes.
Work closely with coworkers to provide necessary business and industry knowledge to ensure the successful post‑sales implementation of our client’s solution.
Participate in the early stages of implementation to help clearly define the business requirements, assessment work or mentoring coworkers on business techniques or methods as appropriate.
Maintain industry and business knowledge, skills and practices through attendance at appropriate conferences, education sessions and association meetings.
You Have:
4+ years experience in retail forecasting, merchandising planning, pricing optimization, product management and/or retail analytics.
Exposure to technical aspects of retail solution software applications.
Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze business problems through effective interaction with all levels of internal and client organizations.
Exemplary presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate technical and business concepts in both written and verbal form to all levels of users.
Some familiarity with basic selling skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or other related quantitative field.
It would be nice if you have:
Data warehousing and/or Business Intelligence concepts and knowledge.
Experience of the retail vertical in either consulting, software implementation or software sales or software presales.
Experience with retail or merchandising software or ERP system (e.g., i2 for Retail, SAP Triversity, SAS Marketmax, Oracle Retek, Oracle Profit Logic, etc).
