Our client is a global manufacturing organization who is seeking a senior, execution-focused leader to drive enterprise-wide AI, data, and integration strategy. This role will function as the organizationโs overall AI and Data strategist, partnering closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Legal, and IT to enable measurable business outcomes.
This leader will be responsible for unifying the enterprise data ecosystem, intelligent automation platforms, and integration architecture, transforming operational and supply chain data into scalable, reusable business assets. The role oversees four global teams: an AI Technology Lab, Enterprise Data CoE, Enterprise Integration CoE, and RPA CoE, orchestrating their interdependencies to deliver financial impact, operational performance improvement, risk reduction, and future growth enablement.
Key priorities include defining and executing a multi-year enterprise data, AI, and integration roadmap; maturing AI capabilities from pilots into enterprise-grade solutions deployed across a global manufacturing footprint; and bridging legacy manufacturing systems with modern AI and analytics platforms. This role will also partner with security, legal, and compliance teams to ensure responsible, ethical, and compliant use of data and AI in line with global regulations and industry standards.
Core Responsibilities
Set and execute a multi-year enterprise strategy that aligns data, AI, and integration capabilities with global manufacturing and commercial objectives. Act as the architect of convergence across IT and OT environments, ensuring secure data fluidity that enables AI at scale, while establishing clear KPIs and ROI frameworks to drive measurable business value.
Lead the Enterprise Data CoE to establish strong data governance, quality, and master data foundations across ERP, PLM, and MES systems. Enable a single source of truth for critical data domains while promoting data literacy and self-service access to trusted insights across the organization.
Evolve the AI Technology Lab into a mature, global AI Center of Excellence delivering high-impact generative, predictive, and automation use cases. Oversee responsible AI practices, AI/ML lifecycle management, and the integration of cognitive capabilities into RPA to drive scalable efficiency and innovation.
Enterprise Integration Strategy
Modernize the enterprise integration landscape through API-led and event-driven architectures, enabling seamless connectivity across legacy and modern platforms. Drive IT/OT convergence by integrating shop-floor and enterprise systems while managing hybrid on-premise and cloud environments.
People & Organizational Leadership
Build, mentor, and lead high-performing global teams across data, AI, integration, and automation disciplines. Serve as a change leader, influencing cross-functional stakeholders to adopt data-driven ways of working and embed digital capabilities into daily operations.
Candidate Profile
12+ years in IT, digital, data, or technology strategy, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles
Strong manufacturing domain experience (ERP, MES, PLM; Plan-to-Deliver value chain)
Proven ability to connect AI, data quality, and integration into clear business value for executive audiences
Experience operationalizing innovation or lab environments into enterprise-grade capabilities
Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and global regulatory standards
