Description
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity measures to protect service infrastructure and data.
Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other security regulations.
Develop secure and high-quality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others.
Minimizes security vulnerabilities by following industry insights and governmental regulations to continuously evolve security protocols, including creating processes to determine the effectiveness of current controls.
Lead incident response and breach investigations, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, and adjust security strategies accordingly.
Provide expert guidance on cybersecurity best practices and HIPAA compliance to internal teams.
Develop and conduct cybersecurity training and awareness programs within the organization.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on healthcare applications.
Formal training or certification on secure and compliant product feature delivery concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
Skilled in planning, designing, and implementing enterprise level security solutions.
Advanced in one or more programming languages.
Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Experience with network security, encryption, threat modeling, discovery, vulnerability, and penetration testing.
Experience with various security tools and products (firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection systems, etc.).
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and other compliance regulations (GDPR, etc.).
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Professional cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.) are highly desirable.
Experience in cybersecurity initiatives within healthcare providers/businesses is a plus.
