As a

Global Industrial Engineer , you own GlobalFoundries capacity modelling and planning systems solutions. Maintain existing functionality and enable new enhancements and features. Drive make vs buy decisions, develop internal code and/or manage vendor support for the same. Support all our manufacturing sites as well as central industrial engineering and strategic capacity and capital planning.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and develop capacity modelling and planning software tools

Engage with vendors, driving make vs buy decisions on system enhancements and managing such engagements in the case of “buy.”

Support reporting requirements

Drive global standardization ensuring consistency in capacity modelling across all manufacturing sites

Communicate strategic priorities within and across organizations

Other Responsibilities

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in industrial, systems, manufacturing engineering or a related field

Around 5 years of hands‑on experience on Manufacturing / Industrial processes with a focus on buying decisions

Good understanding of Manufacturing Operations from an IT / Software / Automation perspective

Adept in Process Improvement and related System Designs

Intermediate level knowledge of semiconductor processes and related equipment

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with software programming languages C/C# and Python and UI/UX interfaces

Exposure to systems CWCM and LPO Systems

Knowledge of statistical methods

Project management skills, such as the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.

Demonstrated skills in executive communication, fluency in office software programs
