JR10735**SAP FICO Lead – Business Systems Developer Lead**We are looking for an experienced SAP Finance Lead with deep knowledge of S/4 HANA, Finance & Controlling (FICO), Project Systems (PS), and integration with Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) to join our team.Practical, hands-on experience in at least one full-cycle S/4 HANA implementation is essential.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing, supporting, and enhancing SAP Controlling (CO), Profitability Analysis (COPA), and Finance modules, along with Margin Analysis, Credit Management, and Asset Management. Criteria such as the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.**Your Challenge:*** Lead solution design, configuration, and delivery for COPA and core FICO processes, ensuring alignment with business needs.* Mentor junior resources and analysts, promoting best practices and cross-functional expertise.* Design, implement, and optimize FICO and PS reporting structures, Margin Analysis, and CO processes (cost centers, internal orders, profitability analysis).* Configure and enhance FICO sub-modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking) with compliance to standards and internal controls.* Implement and support Project Systems (PS) for budgeting, cost tracking, settlement, and integration with FI and CO.* Ensure seamless integration between FICO/CO/COPA/PS and SD/MM for accurate postings, revenue recognition, and cost flows.* Collaborate with SD to optimize order-to-cash processes and COPA profitability and revenue recognition postings.* Collaborate with MM to optimize procure-to-pay processes and material cost flows into CO and COPA.* Troubleshoot and resolve issues across FICO, COPA, PS, and integrated modules.* Coordinate Finance and integration testing for upgrades, patches, and enhancements.* Support Asset Management for fixed assets with finance team collaboration.* Develop reporting from S/4 HANA using SAP Datasphere, Analytics Cloud, and Analytics for Office and Power BI.* Design CDS views for business analysis and create automated reporting solutions.* Maintain accurate integration between COPA/CO/FICO/PS and SAP modules (SD, MM, PP) and non-SAP systems.* Work with cross-functional teams to ensure correct data capture, reconciliation, and reporting.* Support data flows between SD and MM transactions and their impact on FICO, COPA, and PS reporting.* Provide user training and support for COPA, CO, PS, and Margin Analysis modules.* Act as subject matter expert to resolve cross-module integration issues.* Lead or support Finance projects, ensuring quality solutions and timely delivery.* Maintain comprehensive documentation for Finance, PS, and integration processes.* Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.**Your Expertise:*** Bachelor’s Degree/College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business.* Minimum 10 years of SAP Finance & Controlling experience, including at least 1 full-cycle S/4 HANA implementation.* Proven leadership and mentoring skills within functional teams.* Expert knowledge of FICO submodules, CO (Cost Centers, Internal Orders, COPA, Margin Analysis), and PS.* Strong understanding of FICO/CO/PS integration with SD/MM.* Experience in IT support and project roles, preferably in large organizations.* Canadian Accounting Designation preferred.* Excellent written and oral communication skills.* Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.* Willingness to expand into complementary SAP modules.* Experience with ACCELERATE methodology or Agile SCRUM.* Experience supporting large, complex user bases.**Who We Are**At our world-class manufacturing and design facility in Ottawa, Ontario, we manufacture rugged products optimized for high-mix, high quality and small batch sizes typical of military requirements.
