Engineering Manager/Tech Lead – Software Test Location: Sunnyvale, CA (On-Site) Employment Type: Full-time Salaries: $150k – $190k USD/year

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of 2–5 software testers, focusing on machine learning algorithms and application features.

Develop holistic test plans for software releases and oversee comprehensive test strategies that combine test automation and manual testing for both machine learning models and business logic.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure the reliability and accuracy of ML model outputs and the efficacy of front‑end designs.

Drive the adoption and implementation of automated testing tools and frameworks.

Monitor and evaluate the quality and performance of software products, identifying areas for improvement.

Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous learning within the team.

Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and career development opportunities to team members.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.

Proven experience in testing machine learning applications and front‑end interfaces.

Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Jest).

Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

Excellent problem‑solving, leadership, and team management skills.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
