Overview
Working as Full-time Customer Solutions Consultant, you will utilize all Fastenal supply chain and inventory management solutions. Using these you will prospect for new sales opportunities along with growing existing business.
Responsibilities
Managing the assigned "Book of Business"
Meeting and exceeding key performance metrics
Seeking and developing new business partnerships
Expanding market share and profitability of current business partnerships
Collaborating with National sales teams, local sales teams, and leadership on customer specific strategies
Facilitating the establishment and execution of value generating programs
Developing and presenting business review meetings with customers within the "Book of Business"
Continuously providing exceptional customer service
Required Position Qualifications
Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
Possess 2 years of related industry sales work experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
Work independently as well as in a team environment
Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Willingness to travel 50% + with overnights required
Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
Preferred Position Qualifications
Possess a degree in Business, Marketing, Operations or a related field of study
Demonstrate knowledge of material management programs and cost savings documentation
Prior experience in key account sales

Compensation
The base pay range for this position is $48,000 - 60,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
