Azure Data Engineer with Pyspark & Databricks

We are looking for a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer with Pyspark & Databricks Required skills

Azure Data Engineers with expertise in databricks.

Should be experienced in python/spark notebooks.

Knowledge of Github.

big data tech (Spark, Hadoop) is required.

Data orchestration experience is required.

Experience with Unity Catalog is good to have.

Roles & responsibilities

Will be working as Azure Data Engineer

Should attend daily stand ups/scrum calls/quarterly PI

Work with BSA and product team to understand project requirements.

Create technical specification and source-to-target design mapping documents

Write Pyspark code, perform unit testing and work with QA & Business testers for defect resolution

Work with admins on code deployments

Should coordinate and lead the offshore developers

Qualifications

Expertise in Databricks is mandatory

Hands-on experience in Python/Spark Notebooks

Should have knowledge of Github

Experience with Bigdata technologies like Spark and Hadoop is required

Experience in Data orchestration is required

Experience with Unity Catalog is good to have

Salary and Other Compensation Applications will be accepted until March 5th 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between CAD$ 100,000 K -$ 125,500K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans
