If you are passionate about building high-impact teams, delivering exceptional client outcomes, and driving strategic change, we want to hear from you.In this new role, as a Director, you will:* Drive business development efforts in market, working internally and externally to shape large scale transformations with clients.* Manage projects including large scale Finance transformation, system implementation and process improvement endeavors.* Help CFOs shape the next generation of Finance and jumpstart their journey as they move forward with AI and digital driven transformation.* Provide leadership, direction and guidance to senior and executive level client stakeholders.* Help organizations manage risks and improve performance.* Identify business development opportunities for Finance Transformation advisory projects.* Work with senior BDO Canada leaders to enhance and integrate service offerings across Management Consulting practices.* Manage, mentor and train Consultants and Senior Consultants within the Finance Transformation advisory practice.* Develop relationships and partnerships with other BDO Canada offices.* You demonstrate BDO's core values through all aspect of your work: Integrity, Respect and Collaboration* You understand the organization’s structure, priorities, and people practices* Internal stakeholders describe you as positive, professional, and consistent in delivering high-quality work* You identify, recommend, and are focused on effective service delivery to your clients* You share in an inclusive and engaging work environment that develops, retains & attracts talent* You actively participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplace* You grow your expertise through learning and professional development**Your Experience and Education:*** Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Commerce, or related field; MBA or Accounting designation preferred.* 10+ years of progressive experience in consulting/advisory within Accounting and/or Finance, including direct management of Manager-level professionals.* Proven track record in business development, client acquisition, and expanding advisory services across diverse industries.* Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and guide teams to deliver complex projects.* Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset for identifying opportunities and developing innovative solutions for clients.* Experience in developing and executing proposals, marketing campaigns, and thought leadership initiatives.* Strong collaborative skills, with a history of building partnerships across organizational boundaries and driving cross-functional success.* Experience working with technology including ERP platforms (Oracle E-Business Suite/Cloud, SAP/SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365), or other finance software (Blackline, Workiva, and other finance automation tools etc.).* Experience and interest in AI, specifically as it relates to the finance function.Our people-first approach to talent has earned us a spot among .
