We are currently seeking a Manager, Enterprise AI to join our IT team in Canada. This role is also available to candidates across Canada, excluding Quebec.
Summary
The Manager, Enterprise AI owns the strategy, delivery, and operational excellence of Clio’s Enterprise AI capabilities. This role is accountable for the platforms, standards, and enablement required to safely integrate AI into Clio’s internal data and workflows, while driving measurable business impact.
This leader partners deeply with R&D, Go-To-Market, Finance, People, IT, Data Engineering, and Data Insights to translate ambiguous business needs into scalable AI solutions. They are responsible for both hands‑on delivery in the near term and building the roadmap, operating model, and team that will scale AI impact across Clio over time.
What you’ll work on
Own the multi‑year Enterprise AI strategy and roadmap, aligning delivery to business priorities, risk posture, and capacity.
Define success metrics, KTLO standards, and adoption goals; track impact and course‑correct as needed.
Partner with senior leaders to identify and execute high‑impact AI initiatives.
Govern and operate enterprise AI platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, security, and cost discipline.
Establish platform standards, access models, usage policies, and lifecycle management.
Oversee the delivery of AI workflows, applications, and custom models integrated with Clio’s internal data.
Partner with Data Engineering and Data Insights on data classification, modeling, and metadata management (e.g., Databricks, dbt).
Define and enforce responsible AI standards, with privacy, security, and compliance at the core.
Work closely with Legal, Security, and Privacy on risk management, vendor oversight, and audit readiness.
Drive company‑wide AI adoption through training, playbooks, documentation, and support models in partnership with Learning & Development.
Act as an internal advisor and champion for teams adopting AI, improving usability and outcomes through feedback loops.
Foster an audit‑ready Enterprise AI program, operating within Clio’s AI principles.
Operate as a player‑coach initially, with a clear plan to build and scale the Enterprise AI team.
Hire, develop, and lead a high‑performing team; establish strong operating rhythms and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
What you may have
5+ years of experience across AI systems, data platforms, software engineering, or enterprise technology, with 2+ years in a people leadership or technical leadership role.
Hands‑on experience delivering AI‑enabled systems or data‑driven products in a production environment.
Strong understanding of modern data platforms (e.g., SQL, Databricks, dbt) and software development (e.g., Ruby, Python).
Experience governing or operating enterprise platforms with security, privacy, and compliance considerations.
Proven ability to translate ambiguous business problems into practical, scalable technical solutions.
Solution‑oriented mindset.
Track record of partnering with senior stakeholders and delivering measurable business outcomes.
Experience building enablement programs, internal tools, or platforms that drive broad adoption.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data, or equivalent practical experience.
