Defines and develops marketing campaign strategies that strengthen the BMO brand, maximize revenue and optimize the customer experience. Works collaboratively with business/groups on the strategic development, execution and measurement of traditional and non-traditional customer-focussed advertising, production, merchandising, and communications campaigns. Provides information and direction for media and creative development, and ensures brand and governance standards are maintained met in all solutions. Oversees the development of advertising, promotional and communications material. Collaborates with external agency partners to deliver business objectives.

Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
Builds change management plans of varying scope and type; leads or participates in a variety of change management activities including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation, and sustainment of initiatives.
Provides input into the planning and implementation of operational programs.
Makes recommendations to improve BMO processes and systems.
Executes work to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service.
Leads/participates in the design, implementation and management of core business/group processes.
Develops and manages a business/group program.
Reviews the program for effectiveness, considers industry trends and recommends enhancements; makes changes as required.
Acts as the day to day contact for vendors; supports the implementation, maintenance, and sustainment of vendor solutions.
Ensures consistency in solutions and across marketing channels, media and platforms.
Works with business/group in the development and management of campaign budgets.
Collaborates with internal/external stakeholders to develop monitoring and tracking plans for external advertising initiatives.
Ensures compliance with internal frameworks, standards, guidelines and governance.
Operates at a group/enterprise-wide level and serves as a specialist resource to senior leaders and stakeholders.
Applies expertise and thinks creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems that can be complex and non-routine.
Implements changes in response to shifting trends.
Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study.
Experience in customer-focussed marketing and communications.
Extensive experience in project management.
Advertising and/or creative agency experience.
Experience in, and advanced knowledge of, the financial services industry.
Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge.
Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth / Expert.
Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth / Expert.
Influence skills - In-depth / Expert.
Collaboration & team skills; with a focus on cross-group collaboration - In-depth / Expert.

Salary:
$86,000.00 - $160,000.00

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
