432 Health Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Manager for a community pharmacy in the vibrant Downtown/West End area of Winnipeg, Manitoba. As a leader in managing independent local pharmacies, 432 Health Group is committed to fostering strong community ties and delivering exceptional patient care. The incumbent will work closely with the management team to ensure standard operating procedures, policies and applicable laws and regulations are followed. Responsibilities
Dispensing medications
Filling, preparing, checking and dispensing patient prescriptions
Administration of vaccines and other injectable medication
Providing full scope of practice for patient care including medication reviews
Working collaboratively with patientsโ physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure positive drug therapy outcomes
Engaging in community outreach programs
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy
Pharmacy inventory maintenance
Ensuring proper preparation, packaging, distribution and storage of vaccines and other drugs and pharmaceuticals
Narcotic and controlled drug accountability and maintenance
All other duties and responsibilities of the pharmacy manager in a community pharmacy setting as set out by the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba
Qualifications
Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba
Meet the requirements to be designated pharmacy manager
Certificate of Injection Administration
OAT training and experience with OAT
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Superior patient and physician relation skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Excellent leadership and performance management skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (preferred)
Working experience with Kroll Pharmacy dispensing software (preferred)
