Job Description

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) has a Finance Business Partner Opportunity!

As a

Finance Business Partner (FBP) , you will be responsible for performing key functions within the Finance portfolio. The FBP provides leadership, direction and implementation, including development and execution of operational plans, that align to the strategic plan and health authority priorities and directives. The FBP demonstrates strong leadership to enable an innovative and positive working climate and a client‑centric culture. The FBP must work cross functionally within the portfolio and across the organization to support operations. The FBP will develop partnerships and work closely with system and community partners.

Education Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CPA, or CMA) is preferred

Experience 5+ yrs at a Senior Finance level, in similar scope/areas of complexity Mobilizes people, inspires and leads by example Analytical skills Capability to transform systems: Encourage and support innovation Critical thinking skills Financial skills

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge in First Nation and Metis history in Saskatchewan Knowledge in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action Knowledge in the Saskatchewan health care system Strong interpersonal skills Exemplifies ethical practices, professionalism and personal integrity Ability to lead and coach others Knowledge in applicable human resource functions and disciplines Ability to adapt to and implement change Commitment to a diverse, representative workforce and cultural safety Knowledge in applicable legislation and standards Proven ability to collaborate and partner with a wide variety of stakeholders Committed to delivering on patient and family centred care Knowledge in organization's goals, vision, mission and values Commitment to quality, safety, and improvement striving towards zero harm Has demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and develop others
