Electrical Engineer

Agence de Placement Trésor Inc. is supporting one of our clients in hiring a highly skilled Electrical Engineer specializing in the design and development of dry-type transformers. This senior role is ideal for an engineer with strong analytical skills, experience in industrial electrical design, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities Design and develop dry-type transformers and electrical assemblies

Produce and update electrical schematics and technical documentation

Perform manual calculations, validations, and technical analyses

Prepare cost estimates for engineering projects

Contribute to new product development and process improvements

Collaborate with mechanical design, production, and engineering teams

Communicate technical requirements to drafting specialists

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

10–25 years of experience in electrical design (transformer experience is a strong asset)

Strong manual calculation and analytical skills

Proficiency with Excel; SolidWorks is an asset

English and French required (spoken and written)

Ability to work on-site full-time

Autonomy, rigor, and ability to manage complex engineering tasks
