Salary: $80,000–$100,000 (dependent on experience)

A well-established structural engineering consultancy in Vancouver is seeking a

Junior / Intermediate Structural Design Engineer

to join its growing team. This firm offers a collaborative, fast-paced technical environment with strong mentorship and exposure to a variety of building projects.

Qualifications & Skills ASc. or B.Eng. in Civil Engineering with a Structural major

Registered as a P.Eng. or EIT with EGBC

Structural design experience in concrete and wood

Working knowledge of the BC Building Code

Ability to accurately read and interpret drawing plans and construction documentation

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Key Responsibilities Prepare structural designs, calculations, and analysis in accordance with applicable codes and standards

Develop engineering drawings and documents using computer-assisted design software

Review drawings, reports, and construction documentation to support project planning and execution

Conduct field reviews and structural site observations

Review shop drawings, contractor requests, and RFIs

Coordinate with internal team members and external project stakeholders
