Electrical Engineer - Client in the Energy industry

Our client, a leading energy company located in Regina, is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer for an on-site permanent position.

On a daily basis you will have to:

Lead / participate in electrical projects

Lead / participate in multidisciplinary projects

Production of engineer works, sign and seal.

Design of electrical systems, mainly in heavy industry.

Perform technical studies:

Load flow

Protective coordination

Arc flash

Prepare calculation notes, write specifications and technical reports

Prepare designs and specifications related to the following items:

120 V, 600 V, 4.16 kV, 25 kV power distribution

Power supply of various motor loads

Heating cables

Power generators

Lighting

Grounding

Prepare engineering proposals, and estimates Client relations

Requirements:

Bachelor of Electrical Engineering

Member of the Professional order of Engineers of the province (APEGS)

0-3 years of experience in heavy industry/plant

You are the one we are looking for if you have:

Good knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code

Experience in consulting engineering and/or heavy industry

Teamwork and Communication skills

Experience in medium and/or high voltage (asset)

Experience in building systems design (asset)

Experience in and hazardous locations (asset)

English required, French (Asset)
