The Production Planning team at Seagate Singapore (W1) plays a critical role in orchestrating smooth factory operations by ensuring aligned production schedules, optimized capacity usage, accurate material planning, and timely delivery performance. The team partners closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, IE, and Customer Operations to support both daily build execution and long term planning.
About the role - you will:
Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer requirements, inventory targets, and factory capacity constraints.
Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure readiness of materials, tools, and resources for smooth execution.
Analyze production demand, output trends, equipment availability, and WIP status to recommend adjustments.
Perform capacity planning and scenario analysis to support ramp plans, NPI builds, and recovery actions.
Monitor daily build performance, identify risks, and drive cross functional issue resolution.
Align build priorities with global planning teams, customer operations, and internal stakeholders.
Maintain accurate planning data in MES/ERP systems and ensure compliance with planning processes.
Support production meetings, escalation communication, and weekly/monthly planning reviews.
Drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy, cycle time stability, and material flow.
About you:

Proactive problem solver who thrives on collaboration and data driven decisions.
Your experience includes:
Diploma or Bachelorโs degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
Experience in production planning, materials planning, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel, planning tools, or ERP/MES systems.
Understanding of WIP flow, cycle time, capacity modeling, and build planning fundamentals.
