Job Description
Our Vancouver-based client is seeking a Sales Director to drive net-new logo acquisition and revenue growth. This is a hands‑on sales role, not a people‑management position. The successful candidate will focus primarily on hunting, opening, and closing new accounts within industrial and municipal environments.
This role is approximately 90% direct sales / revenue generation and 10% team contribution, with the opportunity to evolve into a leadership role as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle for new customer acquisition, from prospecting to close
Drive revenue growth by selling industrial software platform into complex operational environments
Engage and influence technical and commercial decision‑makers, including:
Plant Managers
Contract Operators
Procurement Managers
Technical and Digital Teams
Commercial and Partnership Teams
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
Clearly articulate technical value, ROI, and operational impact to engineering‑led buyers
Represent company at industry events, conferences, and select client visits
Required Experience & Qualifications
Proven success in industrial sales, ideally including:
Industrial software sales
Software sold into industrial or operational settings
Engineering background is essential (sales organization is engineer‑led)
Strong understanding of industrial processes and how technology supports operational efficiency
Demonstrated ability to close complex, consultative sales with multiple stakeholders
Self‑motivated and effective in a remote selling environment
Location & Travel
Open to candidates anywhere in Canada
10–15% travel for client meetings and industry conferences
