Responsibilities

Break down larger projects into individual tasks and collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery

Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics throughout the product development lifecycle

Monitor team metrics and support operational availability, including on-call efforts

Engage in team growth and development activities, including participation in the interview process

Write clear, well-tested, and extensible code to solve business scenarios interacting with multiple software components

Qualifications

Minimum of 1.5 years of experience as a software engineer

Proficiency in designing, developing, and launching backend systems using Python or Kotlin

Familiarity with distributed systems and technologies such as AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes

Ability to navigate a large codebase, debug others' code, and provide constructive feedback

Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with a global engineering team

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with software development best practices and methodologies

Demonstrated ownership of personal growth and proactive feedback-seeking from peers and stakeholders

Familiarity with code review processes and best practices in software engineering
