We are seeking a Managing Director, Asset Management & Value Creation, to join the Investment team during an exciting time of scaling of our strategic value‑creation capabilities. Reporting to Managing Director & Head of Investment Strategy, Sustainability, and Asset Management, you will work with deal teams, management teams, IMCO’s leaders, senior stakeholders, external advisors, and our partners to establish and deliver world‑class asset management & value creation. Asset Management is an integral part of the investment team at IMCO as we grow our portfolio and build out the direct investments program, as well as help shape and develop our overall investment strategy and critical value‑creation initiatives across the organization. Value Creation is a key aspect of the team’s mandate as the team works with asset classes and corporate partners across the organization to scope, design, and implement strategic initiatives that enhance IMCO’s long‑term performance.

Responsibilities
Identify value‑creation opportunities across our global direct‑investments portfolio.
Lead, scope, and deliver IMCO’s investment and/or cross‑functional value‑creation initiatives.
Guide and, when required, oversee implementation of portfolio or investments value‑creation opportunities.
Diligence on new deal opportunities.
Ensure smooth transition of new assets into the IMCO portfolio (Day‑1 transition / stand up, 100‑day planning, governance setup, business planning, value‑creation plan development, etc.).
Support value‑add monitoring of IMCO’s direct investment assets.
Develop and enhance IMCO’s asset‑management playbook; identify, build, and implement asset‑management best practices.
Work with senior leaders across IMCO to meet our strategic objectives.
Qualifications
Relevant Management Consulting, Private Equity Value Creation, and/or Operating experience.
Experience applying private‑investing portfolio management functional best practices in one or more areas: portfolio monitoring, governance, value‑creation plan development, digital value‑creation, due diligence, org design and compensation, procurement, sales excellence, pricing.
Experience and track record driving and delivering value from complex initiatives (within portfolio company or corporate context).
Experience working in deal environments, including leading acquisitions, diligence, asset‑management and sale/disposition activities.
Experience structuring problems and driving to decision and action, delivering business results.
Strong stakeholder management (esp. in complex stakeholder environments) and influencing skills with C‑suite and senior investor exposure.
Experience within one or more priority sectors (e.g., Digital/TMT, Clean Energy, Utilities, Healthcare, B2B Services).
Strong analytical skills and business judgement.
Program and initiative management experience.
Team player who enjoys a collaborative environment and high‑performance culture.
