The mission we offer you Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Mechanical Leader is responsible for ensuring the mechanical performance and reliability of a production line while coordinating all of its activities. He performs diagnostics, mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance and necessary adjustments, in addition to ensuring the fluidity of operations, the quality of products and compliance with safety standards. As a local leader, it supports day labourers and operators, intervenes in the event of mechanical or operational problems, and actively contributes to the continuous improvement of the line, all while maintaining a level of quality of the finished products according to the customer's requirements.

An Overview Of Your Everyday Life

Read and interpret engineering drawings, maintenance manuals and engineering sketches.

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and electro-pneumatic failures.

Perform preventive maintenance according to standard sheets.

To make equipment more reliable and to propose improvements to reduce downtime.

Make mechanical adjustments and format changes as required.

Communicate recurrences of problems to continuous improvement.

Offer technical support on all the mechanical systems of the line.

Coordinate the activities of the line to ensure the fluidity of operations and the achievement of objectives.

Prepare the line and required documents before starting.

Perform format changes by ensuring the availability of tools and materials.

Control the quality of products and documents throughout the process.

Intervene quickly in the event of a problem, apply adjustments and elevate if necessary.

Supervise and train day labourers to develop their skills and promote collective performance.

Promote a safe, clean and hygienic work environment.

Motivate the team and maintain a spirit of collaboration.

Audit the line's practices and standards to ensure rigor and compliance.

Communicate staffing needs, quality and OHS issues and any relevant information to the supervisor.

You are the ideal candidate if you have

DEP in electromechanics of automated systems or industrial mechanics.

Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, including: automated system, maintenance, troubleshooting.

Ability to read, write and interpret technical documents.

Mastery of mechanical adjustments and format changes.

Bilingualism in French/English — required to communicate effectively with the team and to understand technical and customer documentation (primarily in English).

Ability to solve complex problems effectively.

Proximity leadership, coaching and clear communication.

Team spirit, collaboration and autonomy.

Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.

Action and performance orientation.

Stress management and efficiency in the context of unforeseen events.
