We have an exciting opportunity for a Water & Dams Project Engineer

interested in joining and growing our infrastructure team. Working with other members of our team, you will champion the delivery of high-quality projects that meet or exceed client expectations and delivering planned profits. You will also be a strong safety proponent /leader for our safety policies and our culture of caring. You will have the opportunity to take part in our hybrid work model that includes flexible work hours, working from home and in our Kelowna BC office. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for: Project management and delivery of preliminary and detailed design for municipal water and dams projects Managing, planning, organizing work with technical groups in the delivery of project deliverable requirements including scope, fee, schedule, quality, health and safety, risk management, and change management plans Tracking, controlling, and reporting on project performance Prepare and supervise engineering studies, environmental assessments, reports, calculations, plans and contract documents, cost estimates, and construction documents. Lead and assist in the pursuit of new projects, including the development of technical scope workplans, schedule, project team organization, and task-level budgets. Build relationships with existing and potential clients; liase with clients, consultants, regulatory and utility agencies, project stakeholders and contractors. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering. Licensed Professional Engineer in British Columbia or able to apply for this designation. 15+ years of broad and extensive technical, administrative and project experience within consulting companies, specifically in municipal water systems (distribution, conveyance, treatment plants, pumping stations, etc.) and dams. Strong water & dam technical background, including extensive knowledge of all project phases (including conceptual design, pre-design, detailed design, and construction administration). Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills, business development and client liaison experience. Excellent, innovative, and practical customer service and a commitment to technical excellence. Ability to solve problems, complete assigned tasks efficiently, and meet project deadlines. The expected salary for this position is based on the richness and diversity of the candidate’s experience, training, skills and internal equity.
