Manager, Tax

Position Summary We are looking for a dynamic Tax Manager to join our growing Tax Advisory Group. You will lead engagements, mentor staff, research and prepare tax‑planning strategies, and take the lead on complex tax returns for publicly listed entities.

Responsibilities

Lead client engagements across multiple sectors

Provide timely, high‑quality service that meets or exceeds client expectations

Work closely with a Partner as a senior team member on tax planning

Plan and organize teams for the preparation of tax returns

Conduct and present tax research

Serve on the engagement team for planning and compliance needs

Provide ongoing support and mentoring for staff development

Collaborate with office members to attract new work

Identify performance improvement opportunities for team members

Manage time effectively across multiple projects

Skills and Experience

Minimum 5 years of current or recent experience in public accounting

CPA certification

Completed, or nearly completed, the CPA In‑Depth Tax Course or MTAX program

Excellent client service skills and ability to understand clients’ business

Strong project management and organizational skills

Highly motivated with a desire for growth

Strong strategic planning and conceptual thinking skills

Experience communicating complex tax matters verbally and in writing

Ability to complete complex tax memorandums is an asset
