Resident Care Attendant

Located in Lévis, Résidence Les Marronniers offers a friendly and stimulating work environment. We have a dedicated and caring team for independent seniors and those experiencing a slight loss of autonomy.

We are currently seeking three people to fill part-time evening Resident Care Attendant positions.

** Completed AP/RPA training or DEP in Personal Assistance in Institutions and at Home **

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Schedule A: One 4/14 position from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Schedule B: One 6/14 position from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Schedule C: One 8/14 position from 4:00 p.m. to midnight

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around

Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations

Contribute to the development of a residentsè action plan based on their observations

Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training)

Respond to all emergency situations

While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Up-to-date CPR/AED general first aid training

PDSP training

AP/RPA or DEP training in personal assistance in establishments and at home

Law 90
