The Opportunity
Our Electrical Engineering team in Victoria, BC is shaping the next generation of buildings across British Columbia and the Yukon. As an Electrical Engineer-in-Training, you will help design safer, smarter, resilient spaces‑places where people live, learn, heal, and thrive.
Your work will support projects in sectors such as commercial, healthcare, education, transportation, and light industrial, enabling you to grow your technical capabilities and contribute to meaningful, community‑impacting outcomes.
Your Impact
Design electrical systems-including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, data and security-for diverse building types across BC and the Yukon.
Develop electrical BIM models in collaboration with architectural, structural, mechanical and civil teams.
Prepare drawings, technical documentation, and specifications supporting project delivery.
Apply the BC Building Code, Canadian Electrical Code and relevant standards to ensure compliant, high‑quality designs.
Complete system calculations and modelling using industry‑standard tools.
Participate in construction reviews and contribute to construction‑phase coordination and administration.
Support project teams with timely communication, client coordination and documentation.
Contribute to project tracking, quality assurance, and other team processes that drive successful outcomes.
The Skills That Set You Apart
Electrical Engineering degree with eligibility for EIT registration with EGBC.
Up to 4 years of experience in electrical design consulting for buildings.
Curiosity, initiative, attention to detail, and an organized approach to managing tasks and deadlines.
Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary project teams and contribute to fast‑paced submissions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit, AGI, or ETAP is an asset.
Working knowledge of relevant electrical and building codes and standards in Canada.

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT:
$73,400 - $97,200
MB & ON:
$67,000 - $92,200
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC:
$66,300 - $88,000
