WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR We are looking for a strong functional ERP professional who thrives at the intersection of finance, technology, and business process improvement. You are strong at understanding business needs before designing solutions. You can translate complex financial requirements into clear, effective system functionality. You communicate well, build strong relationships, and enjoy supporting users just as much as developing new capabilities. You are comfortable balancing day‑to‑day operational support with ERP project work, and you stay curious about emerging ERP features and best practices. You value collaboration, inclusion, and service excellence. If you are passionate about helping people use technology more effectively while improving how financial systems operate, this role is a great fit.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING In this role, you will support the day‑to‑day operation of the ERP Financial System while building a strong understanding of our financial business processes and user needs. This hands‑on operational knowledge becomes your foundation for troubleshooting issues, guiding end users, and turning real‑world requirements into smart improvements. You will use these insights to seamlessly bridge into project work, supporting requirement gathering, testing, data readiness, training and post go‑live activities for major ERP initiatives. By analyzing and refining business processes and staying current on modern cloud ERP capabilities, you will help drive a more efficient, standardized and user‑friendly ERP environment that supports the Region’s transition to a next‑generation platform.

WHAT GETS YOU CONSIDERED You have a relevant university degree and bring minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a large, multi‑divisional environment. You bring hands‑on experience supporting and implementing major ERP financial systems, ideally platforms like PeopleSoft, Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP, and have subject‑matter expertise in areas such as GL, AP, AR, Budget or allocation.

You are strong in business analysis, from ideation, process mapping to requirements gathering. You are comfortable applying modern project management approaches to deliver results. You work confidently with data and reporting tools, using Power BI, SQL, and advanced Excel to uncover insights and support decision making. You understand financial policies, accounting principles and controls and you know how to apply them in system design.

You communicate clearly, collaborate well and build strong relationships. You thrive in an inclusive environment, bring curiosity and attention to detail and can balance day‑to‑day support with project work.
