Associate Technical Solutions Specialist

The Opportunity This is an amazing opportunity to be part of a high performing team that’s making public sector budgeting easier, smarter, and more transparent. As Euna Solutions grows, we are expanding our Technical Solutions Specialist team. We're currently seeking team members with experience in building integrations and related skills.

The successful candidate’s primary role is the development of SQL-based ETL integrations between the Euna Budget Pro budgeting system and third‑party systems. You will work closely with internal resources and directly with customers to design, develop, and implement robust data exchange solutions. Your expertise in SQL development and data integration will be critical to ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow across platforms.

In addition to integrations, you will also support the development of SSRS reports for Euna Budget Pro customers. As technology evolves, so will Euna's reporting capabilities, expanding into Microsoft Power BI or similar technologies. The successful candidate will have the capability and interest to grow with us in both integration and reporting domains.

Most Technical Solutions Team members also spend time supporting our Application Support team as a second tier escalation point.

The Euna Budget Pro application is built on a Microsoft stack of Azure App Services, C#, JavaScript, and SQL Azure; hosted in the Azure cloud; and allows end‑user single sign‑on via authentication technologies such as LDAP, ADFS, and SAML. You will be encouraged to contribute and enhance your experience in the installation, tuning, and configuration of these technologies.

What You’ll Do

Build ETL processes in SQL to exchange data between Euna Budget Pro and third‑party systems

Work with Euna Budget Pro Implementation Managers, Consultants, and directly with customers, to design and develop custom SSRS reports

Design and develop custom data views for use in: in‑product reports or dashboards; external reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.); or custom reports

Handle multiple integration and reporting implementations concurrently

Attain an understanding of the Euna Budget Pro system to provide 2nd‑Tier application support

Carry out migrations from customer on‑premise installations to our Azure platform

Provide expertise to other departments within Euna Budgets

Who You Are Essential Knowledge:

Microsoft SQL development using SQL Server Management Studio and/or Azure Data Studio

Experience building ETL integrations with third‑party systems using SQL

SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), ideally using Visual Studio Report Projects

Above average written and verbal customer communication skills

Nice to haves, but not necessary:

Application support

SQL Server optimization

Microsoft Azure configuration and management

Power BI

Single sign‑on technologies (ADFS, LDAP, SAML, CAS, Google Auth, Windows Authentication, etc.)

Municipal / healthcare / education technology

Location This position will be hybrid with 3 days/week in our Oakville, ON office.

Compensation Range $70-80K base salary. We believe in openness, so we publish our range from the start. Where an offer will land depends on your background, strengths, and how you’ll contribute to the work ahead.
