with a high priority on your personal and professional growth.**Your Opportunity****BDO Law LLP** is looking for a **Senior Law Clerk** and own the following responsibilities:* Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, contracts, corporate governance materials, and other legal correspondence.* Support legal teams during due diligence processes by gathering and organizing necessary documents and data.* Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements for corporate clients.* Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and other internal departments to ensure smooth legal processes.* Conduct legal research and provide summary reports on various legal topics, cases, and legislation.* Maintain and organize legal files and documentation, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.* Work collaboratively with internal teams, including accountants and consultants, to support cross-functional legal services.* You demonstrate BDO's core values through all aspects of your work: Integrity, Respect, and Collaboration* You understand your clients' industry, challenges, and opportunities; clients describe you as positive, professional, and delivering high quality work* You identify, recommend, and are focused on effective service delivery to your clients* You share in an inclusive and engaging work environment that develops, retains, and attracts talent* You actively participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplace* You grow your expertise through learning and professional development**Your experience and education*** A minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Law Clerk, with substantial exposure to corporate and commercial law matters.* Diploma or certification from a recognized Law Clerk program.* Proficiency in corporate law procedures, legal terminology, and corporate compliance.* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.* Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively under pressure.* Experience with corporate filing systems, minute book management, and electronic legal documentation.* Familiarity with Canadian business law, regulations, and corporate governance.#LI-SSOur people-first approach to talent has earned us a spot among .
